Song of Solomon 7
- 1<pb/><t><f>[14]</f>How beautiful your sandaled feet,</t> <t>O prince’s daughter!</t> <t>Your graceful legs are like jewels,</t> <t>the work of an artist’s hands.</t>
- 2<t>Your navel is a rounded goblet</t> <t>that never lacks blended wine.</t> <t>Your waist is a mound of wheat</t> <t>encircled by lilies.</t>
- 3<t>Your breasts are like two fawns,</t> <t>like twin fawns of a gazelle.</t>
- 4<t>Your neck is like an ivory tower.</t> <t>Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon</t> <t>by the gate of Bath Rabbim.</t> <t>Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon</t> <t>looking toward Damascus.</t>
- 5<t>Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel.</t> <t>Your hair is like royal tapestry;</t> <t>the king is held captive by its tresses.</t>
- 6<t>How beautiful you are and how pleasing,</t> <t>my love, with your delights!</t>
- 7<t>Your stature is like that of the palm,</t> <t>and your breasts like clusters of fruit.</t>
- 8<t>I said, “I will climb the palm tree;</t> <t>I will take hold of its fruit.”</t> <t>May your breasts be like clusters of grapes on the vine,</t> <t>the fragrance of your breath like apples,</t>
- 9<t>and your mouth like the best wine.</t> <t>May the wine go straight to my beloved,</t> <t>flowing gently over lips and teeth.<f>[15]</f></t>
- 10<t>I belong to my beloved,</t> <t>and his desire is for me.</t>
- 11<t>Come, my beloved, let us go to the countryside,</t> <t>let us spend the night in the villages.<f>[16]</f></t>
- 12<t>Let us go early to the vineyards</t> <t>to see if the vines have budded,</t> <t>if their blossoms have opened,</t> <t>and if the pomegranates are in bloom—</t> <t>there I will give you my love.</t>
- 13<t>The mandrakes send out their fragrance,</t> <t>and at our door is every delicacy,</t> <t>both new and old,</t> <t>that I have stored up for you, my beloved.</t>
