Psalms 43

  1. 1<pb/><t>Vindicate me, my God,</t> <t>and plead my cause</t> <t>against an unfaithful nation.</t> <t>Rescue me from those who are</t> <t>deceitful and wicked.</t>
  2. 2<t>You are God my stronghold.</t> <t>Why have you rejected me?</t> <t>Why must I go about mourning,</t> <t>oppressed by the enemy?</t>
  3. 3<t>Send me your light and your faithful care,</t> <t>let them lead me;</t> <t>let them bring me to your holy mountain,</t> <t>to the place where you dwell.</t>
  4. 4<t>Then I will go to the altar of God,</t> <t>to God, my joy and my delight.</t> <t>I will praise you with the lyre,</t> <t>O God, my God. <pb/></t>
  5. 5<t>Why, my soul, are you downcast?</t> <t>Why so disturbed within me?</t> <t>Put your hope in God,</t> <t>for I will yet praise him,</t> <t>my Savior and my God.</t>
