  1. 1<pb/><e>Of David.</e> <pb/><t>Vindicate me, LORD,</t> <t>for I have led a blameless life;</t> <t>I have trusted in the LORD</t> <t>and have not faltered.</t>
  2. 2<t>Test me, LORD, and try me,</t> <t>examine my heart and my mind;</t>
  3. 3<t>for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love</t> <t>and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness. <pb/></t>
  4. 4<t>I do not sit with the deceitful,</t> <t>nor do I associate with hypocrites.</t>
  5. 5<t>I abhor the assembly of evildoers</t> <t>and refuse to sit with the wicked.</t>
  6. 6<t>I wash my hands in innocence,</t> <t>and go about your altar, LORD,</t>
  7. 7<t>proclaiming aloud your praise</t> <t>and telling of all your wonderful deeds. <pb/></t>
  8. 8<t>LORD, I love the house where you live,</t> <t>the place where your glory dwells.</t>
  9. 9<t>Do not take away my soul along with sinners,</t> <t>my life with those who are bloodthirsty,</t>
  10. 10<t>in whose hands are wicked schemes,</t> <t>whose right hands are full of bribes.</t>
  11. 11<t>I lead a blameless life;</t> <t>deliver me and be merciful to me. <pb/></t>
  12. 12<t>My feet stand on level ground;</t> <t>in the great congregation I will praise the LORD.</t>
