Psalms 25

  1. 1<pb/><e>Of David.</e> <pb/><t>In you, LORD my God,</t> <t>I put my trust. <pb/></t>
  2. 2<t>I trust in you;</t> <t>do not let me be put to shame,</t> <t>nor let my enemies triumph over me.</t>
  3. 3<t>No one who hopes in you</t> <t>will ever be put to shame,</t> <t>but shame will come on those</t> <t>who are treacherous without cause. <pb/></t>
  4. 4<t>Show me your ways, LORD,</t> <t>teach me your paths.</t>
  5. 5<t>Guide me in your truth and teach me,</t> <t>for you are God my Savior,</t> <t>and my hope is in you all day long.</t>
  6. 6<t>Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love,</t> <t>for they are from of old.</t>
  7. 7<t>Do not remember the sins of my youth</t> <t>and my rebellious ways;</t> <t>according to your love remember me,</t> <t>for you, LORD, are good. <pb/></t>
  8. 8<t>Good and upright is the LORD;</t> <t>therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.</t>
  9. 9<t>He guides the humble in what is right</t> <t>and teaches them his way.</t>
  10. 10<t>All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful</t> <t>toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.</t>
  11. 11<t>For the sake of your name, LORD,</t> <t>forgive my iniquity, though it is great. <pb/></t>
  12. 12<t>Who, then, are those who fear the LORD?</t> <t>He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.<f>[42]</f></t>
  13. 13<t>They will spend their days in prosperity,</t> <t>and their descendants will inherit the land.</t>
  14. 14<t>The LORD confides in those who fear him;</t> <t>he makes his covenant known to them.</t>
  15. 15<t>My eyes are ever on the LORD,</t> <t>for only he will release my feet from the snare. <pb/></t>
  16. 16<t>Turn to me and be gracious to me,</t> <t>for I am lonely and afflicted.</t>
  17. 17<t>Relieve the troubles of my heart</t> <t>and free me from my anguish.</t>
  18. 18<t>Look on my affliction and my distress</t> <t>and take away all my sins.</t>
  19. 19<t>See how numerous are my enemies</t> <t>and how fiercely they hate me! <pb/></t>
  20. 20<t>Guard my life and rescue me;</t> <t>do not let me be put to shame,</t> <t>for I take refuge in you.</t>
  21. 21<t>May integrity and uprightness protect me,</t> <t>because my hope, LORD,<f>[43]</f> is in you. <pb/></t>
  22. 22<t>Deliver Israel, O God,</t> <t>from all their troubles!</t>
