  1. 1<pb/><e>Of David. A psalm.</e> <pb/><t>The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it,</t> <t>the world, and all who live in it;</t>
  2. 2<t>for he founded it on the seas</t> <t>and established it on the waters. <pb/></t>
  3. 3<t>Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?</t> <t>Who may stand in his holy place?</t>
  4. 4<t>The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,</t> <t>who does not trust in an idol</t> <t>or swear by a false god.<f>[39]</f> <pb/></t>
  5. 5<t>They will receive blessing from the LORD</t> <t>and vindication from God their Savior.</t>
  6. 6<t>Such is the generation of those who seek him,</t> <t>who seek your face, God of Jacob.<f>[40]</f><f>[41]</f> <pb/></t>
  7. 7<t>Lift up your heads, you gates;</t> <t>be lifted up, you ancient doors,</t> <t>that the King of glory may come in.</t>
  8. 8<t>Who is this King of glory?</t> <t>The LORD strong and mighty,</t> <t>the LORD mighty in battle.</t>
