Psalms 103
- 1<pb/><e>Of David.</e> <pb/><t>Praise the LORD, my soul;</t> <t>all my inmost being, praise his holy name.</t>
- 2<t>Praise the LORD, my soul,</t> <t>and forget not all his benefits—</t>
- 3<t>who forgives all your sins</t> <t>and heals all your diseases,</t>
- 4<t>who redeems your life from the pit</t> <t>and crowns you with love and compassion,</t>
- 5<t>who satisfies your desires with good things</t> <t>so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. <pb/></t>
- 6<t>The LORD works righteousness</t> <t>and justice for all the oppressed. <pb/></t>
- 7<t>He made known his ways to Moses,</t> <t>his deeds to the people of Israel:</t>
- 8<t>The LORD is compassionate and gracious,</t> <t>slow to anger, abounding in love.</t>
- 9<t>He will not always accuse,</t> <t>nor will he harbor his anger forever;</t>
- 10<t>he does not treat us as our sins deserve</t> <t>or repay us according to our iniquities.</t>
- 11<t>For as high as the heavens are above the earth,</t> <t>so great is his love for those who fear him;</t>
- 12<t>as far as the east is from the west,</t> <t>so far has he removed our transgressions from us. <pb/></t>
- 13<t>As a father has compassion on his children,</t> <t>so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;</t>
- 14<t>for he knows how we are formed,</t> <t>he remembers that we are dust.</t>
- 15<t>The life of mortals is like grass,</t> <t>they flourish like a flower of the field;</t>
- 16<t>the wind blows over it and it is gone,</t> <t>and its place remembers it no more.</t>
- 17<t>But from everlasting to everlasting</t> <t>the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,</t> <t>and his righteousness with their children’s children—</t>
- 18<t>with those who keep his covenant</t> <t>and remember to obey his precepts. <pb/></t>
- 19<t>The LORD has established his throne in heaven,</t> <t>and his kingdom rules over all. <pb/></t>
- 20<t>Praise the LORD, you his angels,</t> <t>you mighty ones who do his bidding,</t> <t>who obey his word.</t>
- 21<t>Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,</t> <t>you his servants who do his will.</t>
- 22<t>Praise the LORD, all his works</t> <t>everywhere in his dominion. <pb/>Praise the LORD, my soul.</t>
