Psalms 96
- 1<pb/><t>Sing to the LORD a new song;</t> <t>sing to the LORD, all the earth.</t>
- 2<t>Sing to the LORD, praise his name;</t> <t>proclaim his salvation day after day.</t>
- 3<t>Declare his glory among the nations,</t> <t>his marvelous deeds among all peoples. <pb/></t>
- 4<t>For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;</t> <t>he is to be feared above all gods.</t>
- 5<t>For all the gods of the nations are idols,</t> <t>but the LORD made the heavens.</t>
- 6<t>Splendor and majesty are before him;</t> <t>strength and glory are in his sanctuary. <pb/></t>
- 7<t>Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations,</t> <t>ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.</t>
- 8<t>Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;</t> <t>bring an offering and come into his courts.</t>
- 9<t>Worship the LORD in the splendor of his<f>[181]</f> holiness;</t> <t>tremble before him, all the earth.</t>
- 10<t>Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.”</t> <t>The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;</t> <t>he will judge the peoples with equity. <pb/></t>
- 11<t>Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;</t> <t>let the sea resound, and all that is in it.</t>
- 12<t>Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;</t> <t>let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.</t>
- 13<t>Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes,</t> <t>he comes to judge the earth.</t> <t>He will judge the world in righteousness</t> <t>and the peoples in his faithfulness.</t>
