Psalms 92

  1. 1<pb/><e>A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.</e> <pb/><t>It is good to praise the LORD</t> <t>and make music to your name, O Most High,</t>
  2. 2<t>proclaiming your love in the morning</t> <t>and your faithfulness at night,</t>
  3. 3<t>to the music of the ten-stringed lyre</t> <t>and the melody of the harp. <pb/></t>
  4. 4<t>For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;</t> <t>I sing for joy at what your hands have done.</t>
  5. 5<t>How great are your works, LORD,</t> <t>how profound your thoughts!</t>
  6. 6<t>Senseless people do not know,</t> <t>fools do not understand,</t>
  7. 7<t>that though the wicked spring up like grass</t> <t>and all evildoers flourish,</t> <t>they will be destroyed forever. <pb/></t>
  8. 8<t>But you, LORD, are forever exalted. <pb/></t>
  9. 9<t>For surely your enemies, LORD,</t> <t>surely your enemies will perish;</t> <t>all evildoers will be scattered.</t>
  10. 10<t>You have exalted my horn<f>[178]</f> like that of a wild ox;</t> <t>fine oils have been poured on me.</t>
  11. 11<t>My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;</t> <t>my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes. <pb/></t>
  12. 12<t>The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,</t> <t>they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;</t>
  13. 13<t>planted in the house of the LORD,</t> <t>they will flourish in the courts of our God.</t>
  14. 14<t>They will still bear fruit in old age,</t> <t>they will stay fresh and green,</t>
  15. 15<t>proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;</t> <t>he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”</t>
