Psalms 110
- 1<pb/><e>Of David. A psalm.</e> <pb/><t>The LORD says to my lord:<f>[195]</f> <pb/>“Sit at my right hand</t> <t>until I make your enemies</t> <t>a footstool for your feet.” <pb/></t>
- 2<t>The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,</t> <t>“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”</t>
- 3<t>Your troops will be willing</t> <t>on your day of battle.</t> <t>Arrayed in holy splendor,</t> <t>your young men will come to you</t> <t>like dew from the morning’s womb.<f>[196]</f> <pb/></t>
- 4<t>The LORD has sworn</t> <t>and will not change his mind:</t> <t>“You are a priest forever,</t> <t>in the order of Melchizedek.” <pb/></t>
- 5<t>The Lord is at your right hand<f>[197]</f>;</t> <t>he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.</t>
- 6<t>He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead</t> <t>and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.</t>
- 7<t>He will drink from a brook along the way,<f>[198]</f></t> <t>and so he will lift his head high.</t>
