Psalms 101

  1. 1<pb/><e>Of David. A psalm.</e> <pb/><t>I will sing of your love and justice;</t> <t>to you, LORD, I will sing praise.</t>
  2. 2<t>I will be careful to lead a blameless life—</t> <t>when will you come to me? <pb/>I will conduct the affairs of my house</t> <t>with a blameless heart.</t>
  3. 3<t>I will not look with approval</t> <t>on anything that is vile. <pb/>I hate what faithless people do;</t> <t>I will have no part in it.</t>
  4. 4<t>The perverse of heart shall be far from me;</t> <t>I will have nothing to do with what is evil. <pb/></t>
  5. 5<t>Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,</t> <t>I will put to silence;</t> <t>whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,</t> <t>I will not tolerate. <pb/></t>
  6. 6<t>My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,</t> <t>that they may dwell with me;</t> <t>the one whose walk is blameless</t> <t>will minister to me. <pb/></t>
  7. 7<t>No one who practices deceit</t> <t>will dwell in my house;</t> <t>no one who speaks falsely</t> <t>will stand in my presence. <pb/></t>
  8. 8<t>Every morning I will put to silence</t> <t>all the wicked in the land;</t> <t>I will cut off every evildoer</t> <t>from the city of the LORD.</t>
