Psalms 125

  1. 1<pb/><e>A song of ascents.</e> <pb/><t>Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,</t> <t>which cannot be shaken but endures forever.</t>
  2. 2<t>As the mountains surround Jerusalem,</t> <t>so the LORD surrounds his people</t> <t>both now and forevermore. <pb/></t>
  3. 3<t>The scepter of the wicked will not remain</t> <t>over the land allotted to the righteous,</t> <t>for then the righteous might use</t> <t>their hands to do evil. <pb/></t>
  4. 4<t>LORD, do good to those who are good,</t> <t>to those who are upright in heart.</t>
  5. 5<t>But those who turn to crooked ways</t> <t>the LORD will banish with the evildoers. <pb/>Peace be on Israel.</t>
